Gus Malezis is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Imprivata. Gus is widely recognised as a visionary leader in the information technology security industry where he brings more than 30 years of experience driving innovation and growth while building market leading organisations. 

Prior to joining Imprivata, Gus was most recently the President of Tripwire, a leading global provider of endpoint detection and response, security and compliance solutions. In his career, Gus has built a strong track record of delivering growth and innovation for leading technology and security companies such as Tripwire, McAfee, and 3Com. He combines extensive knowledge of global markets including North America, Europe, and Asia with strong technical knowledge and a passion for enabling customer success in the rapidly changing IT marketplace. Gus has extensive background and expertise in information security and compliance, networking, network systems management, CRM, and application design and development. 

Gus studied Computer Science and Philosophy at the University of Toronto.

Joel Burleson-Davis is the SVP of Worldwide Engineering, Cyber at Imprivata where he’s responsible for building, delivering, and evolving the suite of Imprivata’s cybersecurity products that include Privileged Access Management, Privacy Monitoring, and Identity Governance solutions. Prior to joining Imprivata, Joel was Chief Technical Officer at SecureLink, the leader in critical access management for organisations in need of advanced solutions to secure access to their most valuable assets, including networks, systems, and data. While at SecureLink, Joel was responsible for the overall technology and operational strategy and execution including direction and oversight for Product Development, Quality Assurance, IT and Cybersecurity Operations, Compliance, and Customer Success.

Before SecureLink, Joel held Systems Engineering, IT Consulting, and Instructor positions while serving as one of the founding members of The Linux Foundation certification committee, a global committee of key Linux subject matter experts.

Joel earned a Master of Liberal Arts degree in Systems Theory and Technology from St. Edward’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Texas Lutheran University.

Karen is the Chief Customer Officer at Imprivata, bringing more than 20 years of experience in customer success, sales, and marketing leadership roles within high-growth and well-established organizations. Her responsibilities at Imprivata include optimizing customer lifecycle management, including customer value, success, support, and services.

Prior to joining Imprivata, Karen led the customer organization at Rapid7 through its transformation to multi-product, SaaS, and cloud. Preceding her time there, Karen led marketing and sales at QuickBase, a no-code application development platform, and held senior roles at Intuit and Bain & Company.

Karen holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Tuck School at Dartmouth and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from Middlebury College.

Travis Grandpre is the Chief Marketing Officer at Imprivata, bringing nearly two decades of marketing experience in Security and Information Technology. His responsibilities include leading the company’s global marketing strategy and execution.

Prior to joining Imprivata, Travis served as Vice President and Head of Global Marketing for CyberRes (a Micro Focus line of business) where he achieved significant growth in awareness and pipeline as well as launched its new brand strategy. Travis also served as Senior Director for the Security Group at Micro Focus, after joining the company in 2016 as part of its merger with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, where he led marketing for the Security Operations business.

Throughout his career, Travis has established experience in product strategy and delivering solutions to customer needs in companies like Symantec, Quest Software, and Novell.

Travis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University.

Dr. Sean Kelly is the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Sr. VP of Customer Strategy for Healthcare at Imprivata, where he leads the company’s Clinical Workflow team and advises on the clinical practice of healthcare IT security. In addition, Dr. Kelly practices emergency medicine at Beth Israel Lahey Health and is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, part time, at Harvard Medical School. Trained at Harvard College, University of Massachusetts Medical School, and Vanderbilt University, Dr. Kelly is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians.

With a passion for bridging the gap between business and medicine, Dr. Kelly is focused on delivering the best patient care possible with technology that works for clinicians, not against them. He is a member of the College of Information Health Management Executives (CHIME) Board of Trustees and is the Chair of the CHIME Opioid Task Force Clinical Advisory Group, a team of health IT leaders committed to leveraging technology to curb the Opioid Crisis, prevent addiction and save lives. The group published the CIO/CMIO Playbook, a practical framework for implementing IT solutions to reduce morbidity and mortality from opioid addiction and overdoses.

Dr. Kelly was also the Co-founder of Lifeguard Medical Group in Martha’s Vineyard, a seasonal concierge practice run by emergency physicians. He had served as a visiting professor at the University of Florence in Italy, First Aid physician at Fenway Park, and enjoys doing humanitarian and disaster relief work worldwide.

Mark McArdle is the Chief Products and Design Officer at Imprivata. Mark is responsible for leading all product management and product design activities across the portfolio. He has over two decades of experience in SaaS leading cybersecurity product development organisations. 

Prior to joining Imprivata, Mark was the CTO of eSentire, a pioneer and leader in CyberSecurity Managed Detection and Response. He was responsible for all engineering, systems and product management functions, including the expansion of SOC capabilities into Europe. Prior to eSentire, Mark was SVP of Product Development at McAfee, where he was responsible for product management and engineering of the consumer business unit and guided the industry’s first transition from a retail boxed product line to an award winning and market leading global SaaS “always on, always up to date” delivery model. Additionally, Mark was part of McAfee strategic acquisitions focusing on leading and emerging cyber technologies. 

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo and has completed the Ivey Executive Program from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Mark holds six patents in cybersecurity. 

Kelliann brings more than 20 years of human resources management and operational leadership experience to Imprivata, where she leads the company’s global human resources and recruitment initiative to ensure a high standard of talent acquisition and retention. Additionally, Kelliann oversees Global Facilities and Administration, and is also tasked with the maintenance and development of all business partnerships, while establishing objectives that align with the company’s goals. 

Prior to joining Imprivata, Kelliann was the Chief People Officer of Symbotic, a global provider of supply network automation solutions for warehouses and distribution centres, from 2011 to 2013. While there, Kelliann played a key role in the transformation and rebranding of the business, which was accomplished by establishing a new company culture and developing an entire infrastructure that was conducive to employee growth. Before Symbotic, Kelliann served as Vice President of Human Resources at Netezza, an IBM Company. During her five-year tenure at Netezza, Kelliann had a big hand in navigating the company’s acquisition and integration by IBM. As a member of the executive leadership team, Kelliann also successfully oversaw Netezza’s global HR initiative, which included executive coaching, recruiting and employee growth & development. Kelliann has also held leadership positions at CA Technologies and at Concord Communications. 

Jack Sebbag is the Chief Revenue Officer at Imprivata where he drives the development and execution of the global sales strategy. Jack has been working in information technology sales and sales management for more than 30 years. Most recently as the Vice President of Sales, North America at Tripwire, he was responsible for Sales and Sales Management in North America and achieved significant growth by creating vertical and specialist teams as well as a strategic accounts team. Throughout his career, Jack has established expertise in security and software, in part due to his sales leadership and innovation at companies like Nakisa, MXI Security, Oracle, and McAfee. 

Jack holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from McGill University. 

Chris Sullivan is the Chief Financial Officer of Imprivata, bringing extensive experience leading successful teams within both start-ups and large multinational organizations. His responsibilities at Imprivata include all financial matters, including accounting, FP&A, audit, and tax.

Prior to joining Imprivata, Chris held executive leadership roles in several prominent technology, financial services, and software companies. Most recently, Chris served as CFO for Parallel Wireless, where he scaled its operations to deliver on its mission of leading the OpenRAN movement with the world’s first 5G/4G/3G/2G cloud-native OpenRAN architecture. Chris has also held executive leadership positions at DataXu, Gazelle, Inc., Fidelity Investments, and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Chris holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Babson College in Massachusetts.

Tom Timperio is Senior Vice President, Worldwide Engineering at Imprivata. He is responsible for leading all global engineering and software development teams and activities, including software as a service (SaaS), mobile, client/server, and agent analytics/AI. With over 20 years’ experience building and leading high-performing teams to develop and support enterprise software, Tom has placed special focus on highly regulated industries — such as healthcare and the financial sector.

Before joining Imprivata, Tom led a mobile device management solution team at Good Technology (now Blackberry). He has also held senior engineering leadership positions at other tech companies including Iron Mountain Digital and Wolters Kluwer, where he oversaw the development of solutions including digital storage, risk management, enterprise backup, data classification, and digital archiving.

Tom earned a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. A multilingual executive, he is professionally fluent in French, and also speaks Spanish and Russian.
