Imprivata OneSign Certification

 

This is a comprehensive course for individuals who are implementing and managing Imprivata OneSign appliances and profiling applications. If your implementation is a phased approach, this education is for the individual who is responsible for future rollouts of Imprivata to new sites and organisational units. The course includes hands-on workshops, exercises, discussions, and demos on topics ranging from understanding the Imprivata OneSign implementation methodology to detailing the solution's overall architecture. Individual learners are provided with best practice examples based on customer deployment experiences in a variety of settings ranging from single sites to multi-site enterprise environments.

Upon successful completion of the OneSign Certification Course, learners are qualified to take the certification exam. Passing the exam certifies learners as Imprivata Certified Engineers (ICE). This four-day course has an optional fifth day for students to take a proctored certification exam at Imprivata. Learners have two weeks after the class to complete the OneSign certification exam. The exam consists of questions and a lab. Student must receive a 70% on the exam and pass the lab to receive certification.

Imprivata OneSign Help Desk Course

 

This workshop is for the individual who is tasked with supporting the Imprivata end user. Gain knowledge of the Imprivata enterprise, to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve various end user challenges. The course covers the basics of the Imprivata enterprise and the tools that are available for supporting and troubleshooting.

Course Length: 1 day

Course Objectives:

  • Identify the components that make up a OneSign solution and the interaction between appliances and agents.
  • Explain the Imprivata agent functions.
  • Differentiate between agent types for different endpoints, and identify authentication behavior.
  • Demonstrate ability to assist users to enroll their proximity cards, fingerprints and security questions for self-service.
  • Explain the suspension/lockout behaviors and the use of two-factor authentication.
  • Manage OneSign user accounts, application credentials, and enrollment data.
  • Explain User and Computer Policies.
  • List the SSO workflow from the end user perspective, and be able to assist users with managing their application credentials.
  • Use reports for troubleshooting purpose.
  • Operate the trace utility to capture meaningful logs.
